PRIOR TO MARSHALL: As a standout at Newnan High School in Newnan, Ga., Poss was a four-year starter who garnered several accolades...In her senior year, she was the team[apos]s Most Valuable Player, Student Athlete of the Week, and an All-Region Team member...In 2003, she was also an All-Region Team member, County Player of the Year and Student Athlete of the Week...From 2001-03 she was named her team[apos]s best offensive player of the year in all three seasons...She played club volleyball for the A5 Volleyball Club, Atlanta Juniors 18s, North Atlanta Volleyball Club and Tsunami Volleyball 14-15[apos]s...she was also a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and Honors Art Society...Katherine is the daughter of Steve and Bette Poss
