Jarrod was named Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement in July 2024, following his return to Huntington in August 2023 to serve as Assistant Director in the same department. In his current role, he acts as the external contact for Men’s Basketball and Baseball, leads marketing efforts for Football, and supports all other athletic programs at Marshall University.
Jarrod began his tenure with Marshall Athletics as a freshman in 2013, starting as a Marketing Intern. After four years, he joined the Marshall Ticket Office as a Ticket Office Assistant before moving to El Paso, Texas, to work in the UTEP Athletic Department as a Marketing Assistant while pursuing his graduate degree. He also spent time with the UNCW Athletic Department in Wilmington, North Carolina, before ultimately returning home to be part of The Herd once again.
A native of Hurricane, West Virginia, Jarrod holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Marketing (’17) and a master’s degree in Sport Administration (’21), both from Marshall University. He currently resides in Huntington, West Virginia.
