Justin Carter serves as the Assistant to the Director of Athletics and General Counsel at Marshall University, a role he has held since July 2023.
He brings a strong legal background with prior experience as a legal intern in athletics at the University of Pittsburgh and in public service law with Legal Action of Wisconsin.
Justin earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Washington & Jefferson College.
He is committed to supporting the legal and administrative functions of Marshall Athletics with integrity and professionalism.
