Marshall Closes Regular Season at Scarlet and Gray Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Marshall University indoor track team wrapped up its regular season on Saturday at the Scarlet and Gray Invitational.
Senior Andrea Perry (Cannelton, W.Va.) placed third in the 60-meter hurdles (8.79), fifth in the high jump (5-00.50) and 21st in the shot put (32-11.25). Zedmalia Wolfe (Toronto, Canada) placed third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.84.
In field events junior Kristin Herron (Frankfort, Ky.) placed fourth in the long jump (18-00.25) and sophomore Xavier Richards (Kingston, Jamaica) tied with Perry to place fifth in the long jump (5-00.50).
The Herd will next compete in the Mid-American Conference Indoor Track Championships. The meet will take place February 26 through February 28 on the campus of Eastern Michigan University.
