Baseball Home For Weekend Series

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - After recording a win in Wednesday's home opener, the Thundering Herd baseball team returns to action with four home games this weekend.
The weekend starts off on Friday at 2 p.m. when the Concord Mountain Lions will square off against MU at University Heights. This will be Concord's first action of the season.
Marshall defeated Concord, 7-1, last season in Huntington. The Herd leads the all-time series with the Mountain Lions by a 39-6 margin.
On Saturday, the Purple Eagles of Niagara University will come to University Heights for an 11 a.m. doubleheader. The two teams will face off again on Sunday at 1 p.m. to wrap up the series. This will be the first meeting between the two teams. Niagara comes into the weekend with an 0-2 record after dropping their first two contests of the year to Wofford.
