Track Jumps Into Outdoor Season at 49er Classic

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University track team will travel to Charlotte, N.C. on Friday to compete in the 49er Classic.

The Thundering Herd last competed in the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships where freshman Teniqua Sutton (Westbury, N.J.) placed seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 37-08.00. She also finished 14th in the long jump with a jump of 17-11.00.

The 49er Classic is set to begin on Friday with preliminary heats being ran first. The meet will conclude on Saturday.
