Track to Compete at Bobcat Field Festival

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Five members of the Marshall University women's track team will be traveling to Buckhannon, W.Va. on Wednedsay, April 13 to compete in the Bobcat Field Festival hosted by West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Competing at the meet will be distance runners, junior Stephanie Achilles (Deptford, N.J.) and freshman Maggie Smith (Kearneysville, W.Va.) in the 1500-meter.

Sophomores Danyell Garner (Logan, W.Va.) and Nicole Kyle (Keyser, W.Va.) will be competing in field events. Garner is entered in the high jump and long jump and Kyle will be throwing the hammer and discus.

Freshman Quinnyana Brown (Amherst, N.Y.) will be competing in the long jump and triple jump.

The Bobcat Field Festival is set to begin at 2 p.m. on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College.
