Baseball to Host Fall Hitting League

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall men's baseball program will conduct its annual fall hitting league beginning Nov. 13. Campers will be grouped by age for 90 minute sessions. Session 1 will comprise of ages 6 through 12 from 6-7:30 p.m., while Session 2 features ages 13 to high school seniors from 7:30-9 p.m. Sessions will be held in the Henderson Center Auxiliary Gym.
Campers will take batting practice and receive instruction from the Marshall coaching staff, led by first-year head coach Jeff Waggoner. Sessions will be held on November 13, November 20, November 27 and December 4.
A non-refundable enrollment fee of $125 per camper will cover all four weeks of the hitting league. There will be no individual session. Campers must sign up for all four weeks, and there will be no individual sessions.
Registration materials are available online at www.herdzone.com, while in-person registration will be at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 13 for Session 1 and 7 p.m. for Session 2.
