Baseball Coaches To Speak At Youth Baseball Coaches Clinic

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University head baseball coach Jeff Waggoner, pitching coach/recruiting coordinator Tim Adkins and strength and conditioning coach Joe Miday will speak to youth baseball coaches, Saturday, Feb. 14 at St. Mary's Medical Center Room 212.

The event will be divided into two sessions, the first being held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while the second will take place from 12:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration will commence at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $10 and includes lunch.

The objectives of the clinic are to recognize possible injury situations, heighten ability to assess and treat the most common problems and disorders that pertain to baseball players, expand knowledge in physical training and injury prevention, and develop a working knowledge of sound baseball coaching fundamentals and principles.
