Women's Track Completes Sea Ray Relays

KNOXVILLE, TENN. - The Marshall University women's track team completed its fourth meet of the outdoor season this past weekend at the Sea Ray Relays hosted by the University of Tennessee.

Junior Andrea Jackson (Sumter, S.C.), who has had two, jumps this season that qualified her for NCAA regionals, finished seventh in the triple jump even with a mark of 12.06m.

In the high jump, reigning C-USA indoor pentathlon champion Kristin Smith (Baltimore, Md.) had a mark of 1.65m in the event for ninth place.

The last top ten individual finish among Thundering Herd athletes came from junior Molly Grove (Bunker Hill, W.Va.) who placed seventh in the 49.71m.

The 4x100 relay team of Rachel Coaxum, Breanna Jones, Alexis Duvaul and Smith did place fifth in the race with a time of 58.56.
