Jackson Finishes 10th at NCAA East Regionals

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior Andrea Jackson (Sumter, S.C.) finished up the 2009 season earning 10th place in the triple jump event Saturday at the NCAA East Regionals.

This year she finished with a leap of 12.66m and was just .01m behind eighth and ninth place. Kimberly Williams of Florida State won the event.

Jackson, who qualified for regionals for the second straight year, improved 10 places from last season as she finished 20th with a 12.23m in Tallahassee last season.
