HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University baseball team earned its highest Pseudo-RPI ranking in school history thanks in part to a very successful weekend at the Arby's Classic in Knoxville, Tenn., announced Monday. The Thundering Herd owns the 64th spot in the RPI, the highest since the end of the 2008 season when MU finished 70th with a 30-30-1 record and fell in the Conference USA championship.

MU hit .339 and scored 36 runs in the three games. Reigning C-USA co-Hitter of the Week Victor Gomez led the charge, hitting .571 (8-for-14) with two homers, seven runs scored and 11 RBI.
