Part One of Heptathlon Complete at C-USA Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. - Lauren DeHays, Morgan Bryant and Jordan Meadows completed part one of the Heptathlon on the first day of the Conference USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships Thursday afternoon, hosted by the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

DeHays placed sixth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.12, and Bryant took ninth in the shot put with a distance of 10.30m.

The trio of Thundering Herd athletes are in places 13-15 with DeHays leading the way for Marshall. Events five, six and seven are slated for Friday afternoon, along with the women's hammer throw and the women's 10,000m run.
