Marshall Track and Field at the Kentucky Invitational This Weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Marshall University women's track and field team is at the Kentucky Invitational this weekend for its first competition of 2011, to take place Friday and Saturday at Nutter Field House.



The throwers begin the competition on Friday night, followed by other field events and all track events on Saturday. Marshall will also be up against: Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Tennessee, Michigan State, Western Kentucky, Western Carolina, Alabama, Kentucky State, UCF and Vanderbilt.



Vanessa Jules looks to carry her momentum from the Oiler Open into UK. She currently holds the second highest mark for the high jump in Conference USA and set two school records at the first meet in December (high jump, 300 meter dash).
