HUNTINGTON, W.VA. - Marshall Volleyball (8-17, 7-8 C-USA) hits a long road this weekend for two conference match-ups. The Herd first travel 850 miles to UCF, where they take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday night. Marshall will then return to the road and travel another 1,750 miles to El Paso, Texas to face the Miners on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. ET. The Herd enter the weekend with a 13-2 all-time record against UCF and own a 6-3 all-time record against UTEP.

Before facing Houston this past Saturday night, the Herd had established a four match win streak after taking wins over SMU, Southern Miss, Tulane and Houston the night before. Three of the four wins were five-set showdowns and Marshall had totaled a 3-0 record in five-set matches for the season. Houston ended the trend this past Saturday though, beating Marshall 3-2. Despite the loss, Cameron Yoho finished the match with a new career-high in kills with 20 hammers and Abby Tomas added to her team-leading total with 15 kills on the night. Laura Der collected 10 kills and only had one error in the five sets, giving her a personal season-high .429 hitting percentage. Der finished with her second double-double of the season after combining 11 digs with her 10 kills and Sammie Bane collected her ninth double-double of the season.

The UCF volleyball team will host its final weekend homestand when it welcomes Marshall on Friday night. So far this season, the Knights (16-10, 8-7 C-USA) have had the most successful home season since 2003, winning 10 matches inside The Venue. UCF is led by Rachel Vukson, who has been one of the nation's best at the setter position all season. The Canadian native is averaging 11.96 assists per set, second in the country, and leads Conference USA in the category.

Following the match-up against the Knights, Marshall will hit the road for a contest against UTEP on Sunday night. The UTEP volleyball team (17-11, 7-8 C-USA) are looking to bounce back from a pair of road losses against UAB this past weekend. Xitlali Herrera led the squad after recording her 11th double-double of the season with 15 kills and 13 digs against the Blazers on Sunday evening.

Both matches can be followed through GameTracker, via www.HerdZone.com. The games will also be available through LiveStream video at UCF and UTEP's athletic websites, www.UCFathletcis.com and www.UTEPathletics.com.
