Marshall Has Nine Finish in Top 10 at Bulls Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. - The Marshall University women's track and field team placed nine student-athletes in the top-10 at the USF Bulls Invitational Friday at the USF Track & Field Complex.
In her first meet of the 2010-11 campaign, Amanda Kennedy placed fifth in the javelin with a toss of 38.80m.
Delkira Maybin had an impressive showing in the 100 meter dash with an eighth place finish out of 30 participants, posting a time of 12.24. Jasia Richardson took fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 11.76m, and Molly Grove was seventh in the weight throw at 46.83m.
Cathleen Clark had a very solid showing in the 1,500 meter run with a tenth place finish and a time of 4:45.97. Vanessa Jules also placed tenth as she ran a 58.46 in the 400 meter dash.
The Herd will remain in the sunshine state as MU's next meet is at Florida State University on March 24th.
