Rain Washes Away Midweek Game at Ohio

ATHENS, Ohio – Marshall led Ohio 2-1 midway through the third inning, but storms moving into the area forced the cancellation of Tuesday’s midweek contest at Bob Wren Stadium.
No stats or scores counted for the afternoon contest as the decision was made to cancel the game altogether. It was the second time in as many seasons that a partially-completed contest between the Thundering Herd and Bobcats was called off due to stormy weather conditions.
Marshall will be back out on the road for a Conference USA series with the Knights of UCF (20-18, 6-6 C-USA) this Friday through Sunday.
