HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall baseball has announced the dates for its fall hitting league Thursday.
The Herd will offer six sessions that will focus on the art of hitting through drill work and evaluation of each participant's swing. In addition to general mechanics, areas of focus will be situational offense, bunting and the mental aspect of hitting.
The sessions are open to any and all entrants from K-12. The sessions will run on Nov. 2, 9*, 16, 23, 30 and Dec. 7 with K-8 going from 6-7:30 p.m. and then 9-12 following from 7:30-9 p.m. The league will be inside the Indoor facility at the Chris Cline Athletic Complex. The Nov. 9 session will only be held for K-8.
The cost is $150 for all six sessions, or $25 per session. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash or check on the day of each session. Register today to ensure your spot into the camp.
