Marshall Sets School Record at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Marshall track and field team took part in the Penn Relays once again this season and excelled in the 4 x 200 meter relay.
The quartet of Kametra Byrd, Shanice Johnson, Naja Greer and Isatu Fofanah finished ninth in the final with a new school-record time of 1:36.49 in an event that was televised on NBC Sports Network. The team won its heat Friday with a time of 1:37.71.
Asia Bange finished 15th (14.16 seconds) in the 100 meter hurdles, while the 4 x 400 meter relay team of Loren Dyer, Greer, Breanna Hargrove and Johnson placed 29th with a time of 3:53.03.
Antonique Butler notched a 31st place finish in the triple jump with 11.56 meters.
Marshall will compete at the Kentucky Relays Saturday in Lexington.
