Marshall Takes Part in Kentucky Relays

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Isatu Fofanah finished fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.73 seconds to lead the Marshall outdoor track and field team this weekend at the Kentucky Relays.
Asia Bange notched a fifth-place finish in the 100 meter hurdles (14.04 seconds) as did Andrea Porter (5:11.73) in the one mile run.
Naja Greer (57.68 seconds) finished eighth in the 400 meter dash and Kametra Byrd (12.31 seconds), Amber Govey (12:34.12) and Catika Slay (28.62 meters) all posted 10th-place finishes in the 100 meter dash, 3000 meter steeplechase and javelin, respectively.
Bethany Drury took 12th in the hammer throw (45.36 meters) and 17th in the shot put (11.28 meters).
Loren Dyer (1:10.79) finished 13th in the 400 meter hurdles and Barkley Castro (2:17.66) took 14th in the 800 meter run.
Mercedes Dowell (35.66 meters) placed 15th in the discus to round out the squad.
