Marshall got on the board in top of the sixth. Zban doubled down the right field line, and shortly later Pastrana hit an RBI double to right field to make the score 5-1.
UTSA added five more runs in the bottom of the fifth, and another in the seventh for the 11-1 lead.
The Herd added one more run in the ninth on a sacrifice RBI by Cabrera that scored Robbins from third base. The lead was just too much to overcome in one inning though as the team fell 11-2.

The Herd will look to avoid the sweep tomorrow at noon in its series finale before a home series next week against Florida Atlantic University (17-5, 3-1 C-USA), which currently sits atop the C-USA standings.
