HAVE YOU HERD?

-- With his home run against West Virginia, Reynaldo Pastrana moved to a team-high nine homers on the year, adding another category the catcher leads Marshall in. The junior now leads the team in homers (9), runs (30), hits (55), doubles (12), and slugging percentage (.606).

-- Shane Hanon's season is likely over due to a broken wrist, the third season-ending injury to a Herd starter this season. The first baseman and right fielder finishes the year with a .324 batting average and a team-high .409 on-base percentage.

-- Marshall continues to be dominant running the base paths, converting 52 of 68 steal attempts this season led by Geordon Blanton's 14 stolen bags. FIU on the other hand, has stolen just 17 bases in 45 attempts this year.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS

-- The Panthers make up for their lack of steals with pure power hitting, with 51 home runs on the year. Jose Garcia leads the team with 10 homers and 31 RBIs to go along with a .591 slugging percentage.

-- Austin Shenton's 40 runs this season nearly doubles any other player on FIU's roster. Shenton also leads the team with 52 hits.

-- Sunday starter Logan Allen leads the team with 66 strikeouts to just 14 walks this season.
