HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall baseball is set to host Eastern Michigan Mar. 8-10 in a four-game series at Kennedy Center Field.

- Erik Rodriguez leads the Herd with a .389 batting average, 14 hits, nine stolen bases and an on-base percentage of .488.

- Zach Inskeep is tied for team-lead in home runs at two, with Geordon Blanton, and in total bases with Rodriguez at 18. He sports a team-leading .529 slugging percentage and the second-best batting average at .324.

- Blanton leads Marshall with seven RBI.

- Joshua Shapiro has given up just one run in 15 innings of work for 0.64 ERA. He is tied with Zac McNeel with a team-high 15 strikeouts.

- Out of the bullpen, Michael Guerrero and Sam Boone have yet to give up a run in 5.2 and 3.1 innings, respectively. Each has given up just one hit while Guerrero has struck out 10 batters to Boone's five.

- Philip Hoffman has struck out 10 batters in eight innings pitched with an ERA of 2.25 in four appearances.
