Baseball Hosts Western Kentucky in First Home Series of April

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall baseball (18-14, 6-6) looks to get back on track as it hosts Western Kentucky in a weekend series at the Kennedy Center.

Marshall fell in its mid-week game to Virginia Tech on Tuesday.

Tucker Linder extended his hitting streak to 17 games in the loss.

Zach Inskeep is tied with Linder for the team-lead in home runs with five and is second in RBI with 25 just behind Linder's team-leading 27 RBI.

Geordon Blanton leads The Herd with 12 doubles.

Erik Rodriguez enters the weekend with 18 stolen bases and five triples, both are team-highs.

Joshua Shapiro and Ryan Falls are each 4-1 on the season and Shapiro leads Marshall with 1.84 ERA.
