Baseball Hosts Morehead State Tuesday at Kennedy Center

Marshall will play the Eagles in a contest each of the next two weeks

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Herd baseball (22-17, 9-9 C-USA) will host the Morehead State Eagles on Tuesday in mid-week action at the Kennedy Center.

Marshall is seventh in triples with 18 three-baggers through games played on April 21, while ranking 26th with 82 doubles.

The Herd has a .456 slugging percentage and a .295 batting average which ranks 30th and 32nd, respectively.

Elvis Peralta, Jr., has a team-leading seven home runs and ranks second in RBI with 32.

Tucker Linder has reached base safely in 24 consecutive games and leads the team with 35 RBI.

Erik Rodriguez is fourth in the nation in triples with six.
