Baseball Hosts WVU at Kennedy Center

First meeting between the two programs in Huntington since 1988
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team (3-7) hosts the West Virginia Mountaineers (8-7) on Tuesday at the Kennedy Center on Route 2 at 3 p.m.

This is the first time WVU is visiting Huntington since April 5, 1988.

The Mountaineers have a record of 8-7 season. This past weekend WVU lost two of three in Morgantown to Coastal Carolina, falling 5-2 on Friday, winning 5-4 on Saturday and losing 9-6 on Sunday.

Mikey Kluska leads team with a .362 batting average and has brought home a team-best 12 RBI.

Matt McCormick and Kevin Brophy have each blasted a team-high four home runs this season. Brophy has also driven in 10 RBI tied for second on the Mountaineers.
TICKET INFORMATION
The game in Huntington will be free admission for spectators. However, there is a very limited capacity within the confines of the Kennedy Center and it is first come, first served. Once capacity is reached spectators will not be admitted into the venue.
