Herd Women’s Soccer Closes Regular Season at Home Against Middle Tennessee

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Herd women's soccer (3-6, 0-5 C-USA) returns home to close out the 2021 Spring season on Friday against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (2-3, 2-3 C-USA) at 6 p.m.
HAVE YOU HEARD
Marshall fell at Charlotte, 1-0, on Tuesday.
Freshman goalkeeper Regan Meyer made the second start of her career and made 11 saves in the contest.
Sophomore Morgan White had two shots on goal in the loss, as freshmen Olivia Gandee, Olivia Neidhardt and Abi Hugh each had one.
Hugh has a team-high seven goals this season, second most in Conference USA.
White has four assists during the campaign to lead MU and is ranked in a tie for third in the conference.
SCOUTING MT
Due to cancelations, the Blue Raiders have not played a non-conference game this season and are 2-3 in Conference USA play, defeating Old Dominion and FIU, while dropping contests to Western Kentucky, Charlotte and Florida Atlantic.
Peyton DePriest has a team-high three goals this season, while Eleanor Gough, Sam DeBien, and Taylor Hamlett each have one assist.
Hannah Suder has been the team's stalwart in goal, playing every minute as the Blue Raider goalkeeper. Suder has two shutouts this season and has made 13 saves.
SERIES HISTORY
The Marshall leads the all-time series 3-2-0.
