DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Marshall men's golf team is back on the course at the River Run Collegiate, Sept. 20-21, at the River Run Country Club. The tournament is hosted by Davidson.
The course is a par-72 with total yardage of 7,317. The teams play two rounds on Monday beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The final round is set for Tuesday with an 8 a.m. tee time. Live scoring is provided by GolfStat.com.
Competing for Marshall will be fifth-year senior Noah Mullens, junior Tyler Jones, sophomores Brett Montgomery, Joseph Kalaskey and Andrew Wyss, and freshman Ryan Bilby.
Marshall is one of 16 teams competing in the event. The other programs are (No. 42) Charlotte, Cleveland State, Dartmouth, Dayton, Gardner-Webb, George Mason, George Washington, Howard, Old Dominion, Presbyterian, Radford, Richmond and William & Mary. Davidson will have an A team and a B team.
The Herd is coming off a team victory at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational, Sept. 13-14. Jones finished tied for second while Mullens and Kalaskey were tied for fourth.
