HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University women's soccer team travels to Atlanta for a road match at the Georgia State Panthers. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. from the Georgia State Soccer Complex.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
Marshall enters Sunday's match with four conference points, placing the Herd sixth in the Sun Belt East. The Herd are within four points of second place, a spot currently occupied by Marshall's opponent, Georgia State. State holds the second spot following a 1-0 win over App State Thursday night.
Morgan White continues to lead the conference with eight goals this season. Her 0.73 goals per game average continues to lead all competition in the SBC.
Marshall faces Georgia State for the first time in women's soccer history. The Herd have previously played in the Peach State when visiting Georgia Southern, last in 2007.
ABOUT THE PANTHERS
Leading Georgia State is Ed Joyce, who has been in charge of the program since 2016. Joyce holds a 50-45-27 record across his seven seasons with the Panthers, including a 6-2-5 record this season.
Georgia State were picked to finish third in the Sun Belt East, receiving three first-place votes.
The GSU Panthers have scored the second most goals across the SBC this season, scoring 27, only trailing ULM, who have 32 goals on the season.
Elena Diaz leads the balanced GSU attack with four goals and 10 points this season.
Goalkeeper Jaddah Foos has played in 13 of the 14 matches for Georgia State this season. Her 41 saves this season is third in the conference.
