HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team (6-3) hosts the Oakland Golden Grizzlies for a four-game series at the Kennedy Center beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Thursday's and Friday's games have been moved from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Both Saturday and Sunday are still scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

On the base paths, Geordon Blanton is 6-for-6 in stolen-base attempts. He has 58 stolen bases in his career, sixth most in program history.

The Herd has six student-athletes with 10 or more strikeouts as starting pitcher Ryan Capuano leads the way with 13. Zac Addkison follows with 12 as Agemy, Chad Heiner, Raymond Pacella and Jeffrey Purnell each have 10.

The Golden Grizzlies are 2-4 this season after they took a two-game series from Cal State Bakersfield and got swept by New Mexico State last weekend.

Brad Goulet leads Oakland in batting average (.391), hits (nine) and RBI (six) while being tied for the team lead in runs scored (six) and homers (one).

Jacob Wosinski has a team-high 12 strikeouts with 1-1 record and a 2.89 ERA.
