Men’s Golf Back in Action at Sea Palms Invitational

Three-round, two-day event at Sea Palms Resort
ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The Marshall men's golf team is back on the course at the Sea Palms Invitational, March 4-5, hosted by Western Carolina.
The teams will compete at the Sea Palms Resort, a par-71 course with total yardage of 6,664. The two-day, three-round event tees off at 7:20 a.m. on Friday. The teams will play two rounds on Friday and one final round on Saturday.

Competing for Marshall will be fifth-year senior Noah Mullens, junior Tyler Jones, redshirt freshmen Andrew Wyss, Brett Montgomery and Bennett Zeitner and freshman Ryan Bilby. The Herd will begin the tournament on holes 10-15, starting 8:50 a.m.
The Thundering Herd is coming off a seventh place finish at the Loyola Intercollegiate, Feb. 20-22. Bilby led the team tied for 10th, his first career top 10 finish. Mullens and Jones had great third rounds to jump into the top 25.
The other programs at the Sea Palms Invitational are Western Carolina, Abilene Christian, Appalachian State, Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Belmont, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Morehead State, Oakland, Radford, Samford, Siena, Stetson, (No. 91) Wright State, Xavier and Youngstown State for a total of 19 teams and over 100 golfers.
