Weekend Trip to Vanderbilt Awaits Marshall Track and Field

Event gets underway at 1 p.m. ET/12 CT

NASHVILLE, Tn. – Marshall's Track and Field team will compete in the 2022 Outdoor Music City Challenge on Friday and Saturday in an event that will be hosted by Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Admission is $5 for all spectators but free to those children ages 10 and under.

On Friday, the javelin will kick off the field events at 1 p.m. ET/12 CT, while the track action begins at 6:15/5:15 with the 200 meters.

On Saturday, the hammer throw will be the day's first event at 10 a.m./9 a.m., with the 4 x 100 meter relay serving as the start of the track action at 2:35 p.m./1:35.

This weekend's meet will be the Thundering Herd's final tuneup before the Conference USA Championships, which will be held May 12-15 in San Antonio, Texas.
