Herd Closes Season with Home Series Against FAU

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team (20-31-1, 9-18 C-USA) hosts the Florida Atlantic Owls (31-21, 16-11 C-USA) for its final series of the regular season beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday.

Christian Lucio has three triples this season to lead Herd and are tied for fourth in the league.

The Owls are 31-21 this season and are coming off a series loss to Charlotte last weekend.
Nolan Schanuel leads FAU with a .362 batting average and is second in hits with 72. Both marks rank second in Conference USA.
Gabriel Rincones has a team-best 74 hits, third most in the conference, 17 homers and 62 RBI.
Friday's probable starter Hunter Cooley has struck out 69 batters in 91.0 innings. Cooley has a 7-4 record.
