HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Basketball team (1-0) is set to play its first of four games at neutral site on Friday when it takes on the Radford Highlanders at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

PRE-GAME NOTES

The Herd opened the 2023-24 season with an 89-73 win over Queens in Huntington on Monday night.
Newcomers played a big role Monday night. Kevon Voyles led the way with 18 points to go with six boards, five assists and three steals. Nate Martin fell a rebound shy of a double with 15 points and nine rebounds as Cameron Crawford tallied 14 points on a 5-for-8 night from the field.
Marshall's defense caused Queens havoc holding the visitors to just 38.6 percent (27-of-70) from the field, including 26.9 percent (7-of-26) from behind the arc.

ABOUT THE HIGHLANDERS

Radford fell at No. 19 North Carolina, 86-70, on Monday night in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
DaQuan Smith and Kenyon Giles each tallied 18 points against the Tar Heels.
Radford was picked to finish second in the Big South Preseason Coaches Poll.
