Herd races at South Carolina while three members take aim at Raleigh Relays Friday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The Marshall track and field team continues its outdoor season at the Weems Baskin Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina on Friday and Saturday.

Additionally on Friday, Coach Caleb Bowen will be taking three distance runners (Abby Herring, Kylee Mastin, and Sydney Smith) to the Raleigh Relays at NC State. The Raleigh Relays schedule is attached HERE.

Mastin - who broke the school's 800 record a week ago with a 2:10.96 - will be racing in the 1500 Friday.

Herring and Smith will compete in the 5K, in a remarkable field of 232 runners.
