Herd Baseball Travels to No. 8 Coastal Carolina

Three-game set to begin Thursday
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team (16-34, 5-22 Sun Belt) is set to close out the season at eighth-ranked Coastal Carolina (34-17, 20-7 Sun Belt) with a three-game series beginning Thursday.

The Chanticleers swept South Alabama in their weekend series last week and are coming off a midweek victory over North Carolina.

Payton Eeles is second in the Sun Belt with 73 hits while ranking third with a .371 batting average.
