Undefeated Herd faces Sycamores for first matchup since 2015

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall women's soccer team (2-0) travels to Terre Haute, Indiana to face the Indiana State Sycamores (0-0-2) Thursday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. from Memorial Stadium.
As of Tuesday, four goalkeepers in NCAA Division I have secured double digit saves while not allowing a goal. Thursday's match will feature two of the four keepers in the Herd's Alexis Wolgemuth (14) and ISU's Maddie Alexander (12).

PRE-MATCH NOTES
- Marshall's Bailey Fisher scored two match-winning goals in the first week of play for the Herd. The sophomore from Hurricane doubled her goal tally from 2022.
- MU Head Coach Michael Swan earned his 150th career victory as a manager on Sunday.

- Indiana State has opened the 2023 season with a pair of goalless draws on the road against Louisville and Miami (Ohio).
- A key piece to the Sycamore backline is defender Adelaide Wolfe, who was selected to the Missouri Valley's All-Preseason Team after being a member of the 2022 MVC All-Freshman Team.
