Herd Lands Pair In Top-20 At UNCG Collegiate

Bull, Borders lead Marshall to 4th Place team finish at Forest Oaks
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Abbey Bull shot her second consecutive round at Even par as she and teammate Madison Borders each finished in the Top-20 at the UNCG Collegiate on Tuesday.
Marshall finished 4th in the team standings as Bull earned a 13th place finish while Borders was tied for 16th at the event, hosted by UNC Greensboro at Forest Oaks Country Club.
Bull's second-straight Even par was highlighted by birdies on Hole Nos. 10 and 18. Over the last 29 holes of action, Bull had just two bogeys en route to the strong performance.
Borders also finished strong over her final stretch of the fall, shooting Even par over her final 14 holes of the day to maintain her top-20 position.
Marshall's Emily McLatchey also finished in the top-25 after securing par in eight of her last nine holes of the day. She finished tied for 23rd.
The performances helped the Herd improve its position from Day One in the final event of the fall for the team.
Due to previous damages done by Hurricane Helene, the event at UNC Asheville next week has been cancelled, thus ending the fall slate for the Herd Women's Golf team.
