Herd Women’s Golf Opens Spring At Columbia Classic

McLatchey leads Herd into first spring event at Duran Golf Club
MELBOURNE, Fla. – Marshall Women's Golf is set to open its Spring 2025 schedule this weekend at the 2025 Columbia Classic.
The 54-hole event is hosted by Columbia University at Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida.
"We are excited to get the spring schedule started at a competitive tournament in Melbourne," Marshall Women's Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "Our girls have worked hard this winter and we're happy to be back on the course."
Marshall is one of 12 teams competing at the 54-hole event this week at Duran Golf Club, a challenging par-72 that measures 6,312 yards.
Action gets started on Saturday with 36 holes of play, starting at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. The final round is set for 18 holes of action on Sunday, which will also get underway at 8:30 a.m.
Competing for Marshall this week are Emily McLatchey, Madison Borders, Abbey Bull, Olivia Kochan and Savannah Hawkins.
