HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Volleyball team (11-12, 2-8 SBC) hits the road for a pair of matches in Norfolk, Virginia, against Old Dominion (15-6, 4-4 SBC) on Friday and Saturday.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
  • The Herd fell in a pair of matches to Georgia State last weekend.
  • Brynn Brown ranks fifth in the SBC with 584 assists this season while ranking fifth in the nation with four triple-doubles.
  • At 86 blocks this season, Beatrice Ciccarelli sits at sixth in the conference. The junior has 10 or more kills in her last five matches, including a season-high 20 last Saturday against the Panthers.
 
SCOUTING ODU
  • The Monarchs split their matches last weekend in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, against Southern Miss.
  • ODU leads the Sun Belt with 145 service aces with Elisa Maggi leading the team with 29.
  • Setter Ashlynn Belcher ranks fourth in the SBC with 636 assists.
