Herd Cross Country Faces Challenge at Live at Lou Classic Gold Race Saturday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University cross country teams travel to E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville for one of the largest meets of the season Saturday, the 23rd Annual Live in Lou Cross Country Classic.
Over 100 schools will be represented in 12 different races Saturday. Both Herd squads will be in the designated top "Gold Race" to start the morning.
The men's 8K race will be at 9:30 a.m. with the women's 5K race at 10:15 a.m.

"We are really excited to be back in Louisville this weekend," Head Coach Caleb Bowen said. "This will be a great opportunity to race in a big meet setting as well as see our conference foe Arkansas State. We love this meet since it's great competition and very close by."
