Herd Volleyball Continues Season at App State

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Volleyball team (13-12, 4-8 SBC) looks to carry momentum into another set of road matches this weekend in Boone, North Carolina at App State (14-7, 8-2 SBC). First serve on Friday is set for 6 p.m.

PRE-MATCH NOTES

The Herd swept its matches last weekend at Old Dominion winning in four sets on Friday and three on Saturday.
Brynn Brown leads the team with 620 assists this season while ranking seventh in the nation with four triple-doubles.
Beatrice Ciccarelli ranks fifth in the SBC at 1.12 blocks per set during the year.

SCOUTING APP STATE

The Mountaineers have won their last four matches, including a pair in Atlanta last weekend against Georgia State.
Maya Winterhoff does it all for App leading the team with 243 kills and 82 blocks with a .307 hitting percentage, second-best in the SBC.
Kennedy Roper leads the Mountaineers with 244 digs on the year.
