Marshall heads to Arizona for first team event of Spring 2024
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Marshall Men's Golf heads west to Goodyear, Ariz., for the first team event of the year – the 2024 Loyola Intercollegiate, hosted by Loyola (Md.) at Palm Valley Golf Club.
Acton in the 54-hole event starts on Sunday with 18 holes each day, starting with a shotgun start at 9:45 a.m. ET (7:45 a.m. MT).
"We are really looking forward to getting our team season started for spring," Marshall Men's Golf coach Matt Grobe said. "Palm Valley is a very good course and is in good shape. I am looking forward to watching our guys compete in Arizona this week."
Marshall is one of 20 teams competing in this week's tournament. They are joined by James Madison as the only representatives of the Sun Belt Conference.
Competitors for the Thundering Herd in the team event include Tyler Jones, Ryan Bilby, Joseph Kalaskey, Clayton Thomas and Cameron Jarvis. Andrew Wyss will also compete as an individual.
