Herd Men’s Golf Heads To ECU Intercollegiate

Brook Valley Country Club hosts two-day, 54-hole event
GREENVILLE, N.C. – Marshall's Men's Golf team is headed to Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina, to take part in the ECU Intercollegiate, hosted by East Carolina University.
Action in the 54-hole event gets underway on Monday, beginning at 7:45 a.m. with teams split between the No. 1 and No. 10 tees. There will be 13 teams competing in the tournament with 36 holes being played on Monday and the 18-hole final round being played on Tuesday.
"We're really excited to see how the guys play this week," Marshall Men's Golf coach Matt Grobe said. "We struggled a little bit here last year and I know the guys are excited to get back at it and play better this year. The course is in good shape and should be a good challenge for our guys."
Competitors for the Thundering Herd in the team event include Tyler Jones, Ryan Bilby, Joseph Kalaskey, Clayton Thomas and Cameron Jarvis. Ben Bridges will also compete as an individual.
Marshall's golfers are scheduled to tee off from No. 10, starting at 9:06 a.m.
