Herd Volleyball Welcomes Saint Francis for Fans First 2.0

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Volleyball team prepares for its final contest before the regular season as it hosts the Saint Francis Red Flash at 2 p.m. in the Cam Henderson Center.

HAVE YOU HERD
The Herd is led by Ari Aganus, who is entering her sixth season at the helm in Huntington.
Â
MU has 15 returners on the squad, including senior setter Brynn Brown. The Toledo, Ohio native returns after a season that featured a team-high 870 assists and 251 kills, second mons on the team. Brown also registered five triple-doubles during the 2023 campaign, fourth most in the NCAA.

Marshall welcomes eight newcomers with five of them freshman with Audrey Geer, Emma Sayre, Taylor Bartrum, Marae Reilly and Hiva Ozgel.

The other three newcomers are a trio of transfers in Izzy Collier from Florida Southwestern, Sarah Stratton from VCU and Kenzie Schoenhardt from Arizona. Â

The Herd will begin its regular season at Davidson's Tournament in Davidson, North Carolina, where it will face ETSU, Davidson and Elon in matches on August 30 and 31.

Saint Francis is led by ninth-year head coach Sara Spielvogel heading into the 2024 season.
