The 54-hole event extends over three days with 15 teams eyeing the title at week's end.
"We are excited to get the season started this week in Louisville," Marshall Women's Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "It is a great competition and should be an awesome week for the Herd to get its season going."
Marshall team members competing this week include junior Olivia Kochan, senior Emily McLatchey, freshman Savannah Hawkins, sophomore Madison Borders and junior Abbey Bull.
On Friday and Saturday, action will get underway at 9 a.m. with tee groups going off Hole Nos. 1 and 10. Sunday's final round will feature a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
