Women’s Basketball Closes Four-Game Homestand Against Southern Miss Sunday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall women's basketball hosts Southern Miss on Sunday at 1 p.m. from the Cam Henderson Center. For tickets to the game, view HERE.
The game being postponed to Sunday is a result of Winter Storm Enzo delaying the travel of Southern Miss.

Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- Marshall earned its first conference win of the season Wednesday. It was the Herd's second victory when trailing at the half, and also its second when giving up more points in the paint.
- The Herd forced 22 turnovers in the win with 13 steals, the most for Marshall this season against an SBC opponent.
- Marshall welcomes Georgia Southern Wednesday for what will be a "Green Out." Fans will be encouraged to wear green to the Henderson Center.

ABOUT SOUTHERN MISS
- Southern Miss is 6-13 overall with a 2-6 league record following its Friday night game at JMU. The Lady Eagles are led by longtime head coach Joye Lee-McNelis who is in her 34th season coaching, 21st in Hattiesburg.
- Melyia Grayson is leading the team with 14.7 PPG. The fifth year center is seventh in the league with 7.5 rebounds per contest.
- The Herd and Lady Eagles will be facing off for the 30th all-time meeting between the two sides. Southern Miss leads, 16-13.
