Herd ready for 54 holes of action at NCR Country Club in Kettering
KETTERING, Ohio – Marshall Men's Golf is back in action on Monday, getting started in the 2025 Dayton Flyer Invitational at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
The tournament, hosted by Dayton, features 12 teams taking part in 54 holes of action over the course of two days. Action gets underway at 8:45 a.m. on Monday with a shotgun start as teams take part in 36 holes of continuous play before returning on Tuesday to wrap up the final 18 holes.
Marshall team members who will be competing this week include Clayton Thomas, Cael Ropietski, Wes Lorish, Jackson Woodburn and Cameron Jarvis. Jack Minutoli and Sammy Shy will compete as individuals.
Other teams who are competing in the event include host Dayton, Ball State, Butler, Cleveland State, DePaul, Illinois State, Loyola Chicago, Oakland, Ohio, Toledo and Wright State. Illinois and Miami (Ohio) also brought individuals to compete, but will not compete in the team portion.
