Taylor Hickman Kinker Named Associate Athletics Director/Chief Of Staff For Big Green Scholarship Foundation

Huntington native has been pivotal piece of fundraising & event success for Marshall Athletics

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics announced on Thursday that Taylor Hickman Kinker has been elevated to Associate Athletics Director and Chief of Staff for the Big Green Scholarship Foundation.
Hickman Kinker has been with the Big Green Scholarship Foundation since 2016 and has been a fixture over the last decade in overseeing successful events and relationship cultivation for the Big Green and Marshall Athletics.
"Taylor's dedication to the Big Green, institutional knowledge, and the ability to not only bring people together, but make them better made her the perfect choice to become our new Chief of Staff," said Teddy Kluemper III, Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Championship Resources & Executive Director of Big Green Scholarship Foundation. "Her commitment to our donors will only continue to make us better and help take the Big Green to the next level."
Over her near decade in the Big Green Scholarship Foundation, Hickman Kinker has helped the Big Green reach new heights in fundraising through event-driven efforts for Marshall Athletics.
As Marshall looks to take the next step in elevating the Big Green Scholarship Foundation to a higher championship level, Hickman Kinker will use her expertise in all areas of the Big Green's mechanism to assist in accomplishing those goals.
"As we continue to reorganize and energize Marshall Athletics, I am thrilled for Taylor to take this next step in her professional development," said Gerald J. Harrion, Marshall's Vice President and Director of Athletics. "It's clear that Teddy holds her in high regard and sees tremendous potential in her leadership, and, in my time here, I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise. I look forward to the energy, enthusiasm, and innovative ideas she will bring to the Thundering Herd in her new role."
Prior to being promoted to Chief of Staff, Hickman Kinker served as the Associate A.D. for Capital Campaigns and Signature Events for the Big Green. She also was previously the Director of Events and Director of the M Club, giving her a broad spectrum of knowledge on all facets of the foundation.
The Huntington native began her career in college athletics in 2010 as a student working in video services for Marshall Football.
After earning her undergraduate degree in Sports Management, she transitioned to the business office where she worked until joining the Big Green Scholarship Foundation as a graduate assistant in 2016.
