Herd Women’s Golf Improves On Day Two At Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge

Olivia Kochan’s 3-over 74 leads team on Tuesday afternoon at Caledonia
PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – Marshall Women's Golf saw improvement on its scorecards on Day Two of the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club in Pawley's Island, South Carolina.
The Herd improved 10 strokes from its Day One total and moved up the leaderboard at Caledonia.
"It was good to see improvement on our Day One effort," Marshall Women's Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "Our team made a few more shots and gained confidence heading into tomorrow's final day."
On a day in which winds were more prevalent, the Herd's Olivia Kochan was able to put a pair of birdies on the card while minimizing mistakes en route to a 3-over 74 that led the team on Tuesday.
Abbey Bull continued her strong play as well, birdieing two of her last three holes and finishing with a team-best three birdies on the day to produce a 4-over 75.
